Anne Thongprasom was faced with criticisms and comparisons with the old version of the lakorn Chaleuk Suk, but the nang’ek is confident and can handle it, she said…

“The ones that complimented me are usually older adults around my parent’s age, there are criticisms as well because I changed my character so unexpectedly from Alin (of Sood Sanae Ha) to Alisa. Some people might not be able to adjust themselves yet.”

There are criticisms of why Khun Ying Alisa is more fussy than the Mam Jintara’s version.
“(Laughs) I’ve acted according to the script given to me, it might not satisfy everyone.”

How do you feel about being compared to P’Mam’s version?
“I’ve been in many remakes, there were comparisons every time , so if I’m ready to accept a remake lakorn, then I should be ready to accept the different criticisms. I can handle it and I accept every criticisms.”

Summary: Anne Thongprasom is not worried about losing her Princess of Entertainment title after hearing the rumors over the internet that they are looking for a replacement. She said that everything has to change and that she doesn’t have any wedding plans this year but she’s planning to get married at age 37.

The talented nang’ek, Anne Thongprasom, has possessed the title ‘The Princess of Entertainment’ in place of Mam Kathaleeya for quite some time but lately, there are rumors on the internet that they are looking for a new princess of entertainment. When asked about this question, Ann immediately replied that changes are normal therefore she doesn’t feel anything.

“About this, I don’t feel anything, well, I’ve received that title because everyone gave me the honor of giving it to me. Each day is different, it depends on the situations and it’s about the future. Although, the reason that I am here is to do my best at my job as an actress, whenever someone complimented me, no matter how they do it, we should accept it and feel grateful. If one day there are changes, I have to accept it, I don’t feel offended at all, I’m okay with it.”

There was also a fortune teller who said that if she gets married this year, she will be rich. Anne said that she doesn’t consider this to be an important factor but it’s up to her and whether she’s ready or not.

“About this, I don’t think it’s the main point, if I want to get married so that I’ll be rich…I don’t think it’s right, but it’s about being ready or not. I don’t think I will get married this year because we haven’t talked or made any plans yet.

I once said that when I’m 37 years old, the time will be just right, but it’s only my thoughts as a whole, but for me, if I’m 37, I’ll see whether I’m ready or not and I’ll see if everything is okay. Some people might said that it’s too slow and some people might just gotten their life stabilized at that time, it’s up to the readiness. When that time comes and if it’s more difficult for me to have children, then it’s alright because at this time, I don’t want to start saving up for having children yet, it’s tiring,” Anne replied with a laugh.

The skillful actress “Anne Thongprasom” got the chance to pair up with a younger generation actor like “Lome Patchata Nampan” for the first time in “Chaleuy Suk” which will be on air this upcoming Tuesday.

Today we’re taking you on the set to see the behind the scene of the first meeting between Anne and Lome. It is a scene where Alisa (Anne) was introduced to Yothin (Lome) for the first time with a plan in mind of bringing him to Mon Pha Luang to be her prisoner in exchange with his father’s business investment.

The scene opens with Lome walking arm in arm with Phiromya (Joy Rinlanee Sripen), his beautiful fiancee and the woman he’s about to be married to.

As for Anne, she walked in with her brother, Athisak (Dom Hethrakul), the two came to this party with a purpose while Lome didn’t know what was coming to him.

At the party, Anne had to use her attractiveness and beauty on Lome in order to pull his interest towards her and away from his fiancee. She successfully got his attention and they got to danced together which made Lome’s fiancee jealous.

A high-ranking lady and a loyal prisoner

The time has come for the big project lakorn from Channel 3 to air and call in ratings at the beginning of the year for “Chaleuy Suk.” The lakorn invested in set production, costumes, and actors who can guarantee the grandness from the talented producer “Kai Varayuth.” He took the amazing novel and brushed off the dush transforming it into a 2010 remake.

The novel Chaleuy Suk was written by Duang Dao and Kaja Nalunta wrote the TV script. It even paired up the best pra’nang of the channel to show off their fame and acting skills such as Anne Thongprasom and Rome Patchata Nampan, who are pairing up for the first time. There are also Joy Rinlanee Sripen, Gosin Ratchakom, Dom Hethrakul, Noon Sinitra, Aom Skaojai, and much more.

Let’s talk with the pra’nang about working on this lakorn, here is Anne who will be portraying the role of a high-ranking woman “Khun Ying Alisa”…

“I consider this to be a dramatic role but it’s not that stressful like my past lakorns. I don’t have to slap/fight or compete, but it will involve revenge and vengeance that continues from my father’s generation. After my father died, I’ve kept the feelings of revenge inside so that I can get back at the pra’ek family who accused my father of being a rebel which lead to his grievance and death. Even though the plot sounds pretty stressful but there’s a lot of love story involved so it makes the story less stressful. In this lakorn, P’Kai also wanted to show the beauty side of it, he dressed me up like a princess and there are many sweet love story hidden inside. I haven’t worked with P’Kai for many years now, our last lakorn together was “Nang Show” six years ago. I have to admit that I’m quite happy for getting to act in this role, I’ve seen the version with P’Man Jintara and I really liked it.”

As for Rome who had a difficult role as well…

“In the lakorn, I’m a real Thai gentlemen and soldier who has received a medal of bravery. He’s polite but is a strong person. His lover is Phiromya, the daughter of a government minister, portrayed by Joy Rinlanee who I used to act in the lakorn “Soi Sang Jun” with before. The story between Joy and I is only the beginning because after my father’s business went bankrupt, I had to try and restore the business back by agreeing to be a prisoner at Mon Pha Luang of Khun Ying Alisa. This character is an oppressed character, P’Boom Ranya is pretty thorough about acting out the emotions so she helped advised me. I’m happy that I got to act with P’Anne for the first time, she is very skillful which fits the acting reputations that I’ve heard about her.”

As for the lakorn production, P’Kai was very careful about casting the main characters and since this lakorn is set in a historical time period, the outfits in every scene had to be beautiful and elegant as well. The costume designers didn’t disappoint us one bit because they kept all of the specific details in, you can even say that every actors had their own personal design.

Today we would like to take a look at one scene just to warm up the lakorn, it is a scene when Rome kisses Anne by the waterfall. Once in a while we’ll get to see a sweet love scene between Rome and Anne because other than having to fight each other with words, Rome even had to become a slave serving Anne because he’s a prisoner. This scene started with them fighting intensely but it ended with a prisoner like Rome kissing her. The reason behind this is that Anne (Alisa) went to the waterfalls with Victor (Arnon), her brother, and they coincidentally met Rome who was fishing by the waterfall. Anne misunderstood and thought that Rome had planned this and used Arnon as a tool to bring her out to the waterfall. She didn’t know that Rome had no idea but the person who planned all of this was Arnon who knew that Anne and Rome had feelings for each other. Anne and Rome fought back and forth, Anne ridicule Rome and said that he didn’t have any dignity left because he agreed to become her slave. Rome got mad so he pulled her in for a kiss to show her that even though he’s a prisoner, but on the inside, he’s never afraid of her. In this scene, Rome might looked a bit tense but in terms of acting, Anne gave her best effort so it took only two takes before completion.

“My plans for 2010 is that I’m going to have the lakorn Chaleuy Suk and if nothing changes, I’m going to start filming 365 Wun Hang Ruk. At first we were going to film 365 Wun Hang Ruk before Sood Sanae Ha but Sood Sanae Ha was an urgent project so we had to filmed it first. The feedback for Sood Sanae Ha is good, I’m happy that the viewers liked us. About my luck, I think that I get lucky once every two years, I’ve noticed that my life will be steady and when the second year comes, it’ll get better.”

The Princess of entertainment, Anne Thongprasom, laughed when the press teased about her boyfriend, A Thinapun, who is being obedient and he hasn’t even officially proposed to her yet. She’s also bored of the overrated news of her buying a condominium that cost 30 million baht because the truth is that she’s not building a bridal house but a house for her mother.

Has P’A surprised you with a diamond ring yet? Not yet, we’ve honestly never talked about marriage, everyone kept teasing but I’m happy living like this.

What about the news of P’A being obedient? It’s funny, I’m actually the one who has to listen to him because he’s older, we’re seeing each other like brother and sisters, like friends, it’s makes me feel better this way.

There are rumors that you went to look for a 30 million condominium? I really did go, P’A's friend is in charge of the real estate, I just went to take a look. I even went to look at a 100 million ones but I didn’t buy it because I don’t have that much money, I want to buy a house more. As for the condo, I might use it to make profit later, I really don’t have any knowledge about this, so I have to talk to my friend about it, I’ll think about it later.

There are gossips that you’re building a bridal house? It’s really not, I don’t have my own house, I live in a condo right now. I want to built a small house to live with my mom, we’ve bought some land and I don’t want it to be more than my budget because it’ll be too tiring.

Lately Anne Thongprasom has only been acting in modern lakorns, but when she got the chance to act in a period lakorn like Chaleuy Suk, she couldn’t adjust herself in time.

“At first I thought that the time period was going to be older but when I got to act in it, it wasn’t. It’s similar to Sawan Bieng or Jum Leuy Ruk but in the period of Chaleuy Suk, it won’t be too blunt/unmannerly but it will be more polite.”

Kai Varayuth said that he had to keep a good watch over you because she’s still used to modern lakorns? “Yes, other people might be used to acting in a period lakorn but in the past, I’ve usually acted in fast-modern lakorn so I was the slowest person to adjust. At first I was stressed, I had to forced myself to walk slower and not frown as much, I had to keep my face gentle all the time. I also had to change my voice so it would fit that time period since I’m a Khun Ying, I find myself to be very funny.

You can say that this is like the pairing up of the mother and father of all actors for the lakorn Sood Sanae Ha. This lakorn has the pra’ek, Ken Theeradeth, who feels happy to be working with Anne Thongprasom once again. Ken said…

“This is my third time acting with Anne, the first two lakorns were successful but it doesn’t put any pressure on me. I used to have that feeling when I started filming Sawan Bieng, but I came to realized that I shouldn’t worry about it, plus, this lakorn isn’t a drama, the role is fun so I don’t have any expectations. What I’m expecting is that I hoped the viewers will be entertain, the lakorn is a comedy and Anne’s character is the one creating the excitement and she’s an unexpected character. As for my character, he’s a realistic man, but when he meets the nang’ek, she seems very strange to him. P’Da Hathairath said that my role is like Potejaman from the lakorn Ban Sai Tong because he’s being picked on and he’s not wanted at home. Most of the times, women usually portray this role, but it’s the man’s role this time. At first I didn’t understand what P’Da was talking about but when I read the script, there was nothing much too it, my character is always being picked on by other people, but I’ll act calm and doesn’t hurt back; and I wanted to move out of the house but my mom wouldn’t.”

“I’m worried about horseback riding because I just fell off a horse (laughs)” said Anne Thongprasom who told us after we asked her about some of the things she’s worried about for the lakorn Chaleuy Suk.

“I fell off while practicing riding on a horse name Wonderful, he’s a male and he’s very big. The first time I fell, I felt numb all over so my instructor told me not to get up, so I didn’t. A while later, I was able to get up, but as it turns out, the muscles in my leg was inflamed for 2 weeks.

“Right now I’m a bit afraid but I have to keep fighting. For me, I want to win too, I want to control him. I have to know how to ride more smoothly because the role of Khun Ying Alisa in this lakorn is very experienced in horseback riding. I have to watch a movie called Australia because the nang’ek is very good riding horses, so I’ll have some inspiration and it does really help. Although, when I have to gallop roughly, I need to use a stand-in because in the lakorn, I have to gallop and fight with a tiger, which I can’t do. I still have a lot of practicing to do but someone told me that after you fell off a horse, you’ll get better, so I hope it’ll be like that (laughs). If getting hurt gives me something back in return, then I’m willing to do it.”

You said that you had muscle inflammation, how is it now?
“For the first two days, I went to see a traditional doctor for them to massage my muscles and nerves, but it was very inflamed that they can’t massage so I massage with a bag of heated medicinal herbs instead. I couldn’t run and had to walk slowly because the inflammation was on the inside part of my leg. I couldn’t even spread my legs that much because it hurts a lot, so I tried to heal myself for 2 weeks before it gotten better. I don’t think there’s any long term effects just a few bruises and scratches around the area I fell on.”

When we asked about the feedback of Sapai Glai Peun Tiang on Channel 3, the nang’ek, Anne Thongprasom, smiled widely and said…

“It’s very good, I didn’t think it would be this good. Many people would call me Lieutenant Prik and they liked me acting in a bold/daring role, so I’m happy. Many people also asked me why I was able to act in a comedy and whether the things that we acted was really hurtful or not. The fans for this lakorn are mostly younger people.”

Did you passed the test for comedy roles?
“I’m very relief that I was able to act in this lakorn, at least I got to act in something lighter and people accepted it. Although they’ve asked why Lieutenant Prik doesn’t change her pants or was it because she’s really that poor? And they said that I don’t dress up as much in this lakorn. I told them that the director doesn’t allowed my hair be put in braids/pony tail, he doesn’t allow me putting on lipsticks, eyeliner, mascara, and I was the only one who’s forbidden from all of these. Everyone could be as pretty as they want, when Janesuda secretly put on the eyeliners, the director didn’t say anything, but when I did it, he scold at me. It’s not fair (laughs).”
