‘Ken’ taking on the role of ‘Potejaman’
Thairath: July 8, 2009

You can say that this is like the pairing up of the mother and father of all actors for the lakorn Sood Sanae Ha. This lakorn has the pra’ek, Ken Theeradeth, who feels happy to be working with Anne Thongprasom once again. Ken said…

“This is my third time acting with Anne, the first two lakorns were successful but it doesn’t put any pressure on me. I used to have that feeling when I started filming Sawan Bieng, but I came to realized that I shouldn’t worry about it, plus, this lakorn isn’t a drama, the role is fun so I don’t have any expectations. What I’m expecting is that I hoped the viewers will be entertain, the lakorn is a comedy and Anne’s character is the one creating the excitement and she’s an unexpected character. As for my character, he’s a realistic man, but when he meets the nang’ek, she seems very strange to him. P’Da Hathairath said that my role is like Potejaman from the lakorn Ban Sai Tong because he’s being picked on and he’s not wanted at home. Most of the times, women usually portray this role, but it’s the man’s role this time. At first I didn’t understand what P’Da was talking about but when I read the script, there was nothing much too it, my character is always being picked on by other people, but I’ll act calm and doesn’t hurt back; and I wanted to move out of the house but my mom wouldn’t.”

Ken acting as a mistress’ son
Thairath: April 19, 2009

Ken Theeradej swept many awards for this past lakorns, and now the popular pra’ek is ready to start a new lakorn “Sood Sanae Ha” on Channel 3. Ken tells us…

“My character in this lakorn is quiet and he has a low self esteem because he is the son of a mistress so he’s often being insulted by other people. Therefore, he tries to create a high dignity for himself and won’t let anyone look down on him. He also has a dream of opening up his own restaurant. He isn’t a serious character, just quiet, but he is intelligent about many things. He wants to take care of his mother and himself so they can have a better life, it’s not as serious as my past lakorns.”

Love recipe version “Anne & Ken”
DaraDaily: April 3, 2009

They are pairing up again to steal the ratings from the fans for the Koo-Kwan “Anne Thongprasom” and “Ken Theeradeth.” In the lakorn, Sood Sanae Ha, by the producer Da Hathairath, they will be arguing and fighting with each other once again.

Ken will be portraying the role of “Pasu” or “Din,” a professional chef who has to teach the superstar character Alin, portrayed by Anne, how to cook. She wants to know how to cook so that she can win the heart of Anucha, a handsome man who owns a TV Show, which will be played by Willy McIntosh.

Ken: “Many people who read this novel said that it’s a very cute story, they imagine the pra’ek and nang’ek to be Anne and I, which was probably going the way the author intended it to be. My character in this lakorn is a chef, he’s a man who’s often being insulted by other people so he has an insecurity in himself. He opens his own restaurant and then he met Anne, he thinks that she’s a celebrity with many problems and she’s not that good in real life, so he didn’t want to see her.”

Anne: “(Teasing) And will you forget your lines again?”

Ken: “I like to remember other people’s lines and forget my own (laughs)”

Anne: “Ken will have to learn the correct way of cooking, but I will use whatever his mistakes was to form my character, Alin (laughs)”

Ken: “Don’t be so sure, you don’t have to look at my bad mistakes.”

Anne: “We took the cooking class together and I’ll know what I’m suppose to focus on.”

Ken: “She wants to know how far I could go, so that you can laugh at me right?”

This isn’t all, you can read the rest of their interviews in the next issue of Daradaily Tabloid.

Anne’s marriage in the year of the ox…only a rumor

Thairath: March 28, 2009

She is said to be the most quality nang’ek that is why she was given the title “The Princess Of Entertainment,” and that person is no other than Anne Thongprasom, the Channel 3 nang’ek. She has a lot of work, her love life is great, and her boyfriend, A Thinapun, who she has been dating for almost 10 years, are being cheered by their friends of when they will get married. We have the answer for you right here.

How is your acting work right now?

“Right now, I’m filming the lakorn Sapai Glai Peun Tiang and my character is a police officer working in the Crime Suppression Department. My sister accidentally became pregnant by Num Gunchai so I had to clear it up with him. Later, I had to disguised myself into the pra’ek house and I don’t get along with his mother, who is portrayed by P’Mam Jintara. My character is a daring police woman who thinks fast and acts fast, her heart is always faster than her brain. At first I was worried because I wasn’t sure if a younger actress was suppose to portray this role or not, but P’Nit Orrapun said that I’ll be able to act, so I gave it a try. I had to act a bit younger for my role, I had to be quick in doing things, daring, and I was the Commando leader. I’m able to command men to follow my orders because she’s an experienced woman. I’ve never done anything like this before and I’ve never done action stunts and I also had to make sure that my action stunts show a cuteness in it as well.

How was acting with the “Mai Leun” Chakrit (Flirty Chakrit)?

“He’s not flirty like the news, he has a nice personality and he’s a gentlemen with me”

At the lakorn set, you sit in different corners?

“He gets hot very easily so he stayed in his car, but I get cold easily so I like to stay somewhere warm. For me, I usually like to sleep on my mat, but when we’re in a scene, we do talk and gossip together.”

As for Sood Sanae Ha, you’re acting with Ken again?

“My role is a superstar who’s been in the business for a long time but her fame is slowly decreasing. One day, I fell in love with P’Willy, an owner of a cooking TV Show, and in order to become close with him, I tried every way to be the host on his TV Show. To do this, I hired Ken, who’s a cooking teacher. My character is a picky and arrogant woman with a lot of attitude. She has a bad side like everyone else, who has both a good and a bad side.”

Do you have to cook as well?

“One day, I went to a cooking course with Ken, in the lakorn, Ken is an excellent chef and he’s the one teaching me all of the basic skills so I only had to stand and watch him, since in the lakorn, I don’t know how to cook anyway. Although, in real life, I can’t cook like the character.”

What motivates you to want to learn how to cook?

“I want to learn because I’m planning to build my house, decorate it, and then buy all of the cooking tools for the house. This time I want a hot kitchen and all of the equipments are ready. I think that cooking has it’s own attractiveness, which is a good thing. I’m starting to want to cook, but right now, all my house has is a microwave and a toaster (laughs).”

You are now dubbing movies?

“Right now I’m dubbing a voice for the movie “Khan Kluay.”  In the past, I’ve only dubbed animation movies from Hollywood but this time, it’s a Thai animation, so I don’t have to dub in place of Julia Roberts or Renee because it’s my own voice. It is something different and the acting is fully mine, I don’t have compare it with my past works because I can do it according to my emotions. Whenever I act during the dubbing and I do more than the character, ChabaKaew, the movie crew would modify ChabaKaew’s character. If they like my voice and if I did more than the character, then they will change ChabaKaew to make it fit with my voice.”

Your acting experience made the character of ChabaKaew more smoothly

“My acting experience does help make me reach that level of dubbing. Dubbing works has it’s own rules that I can’t apply all of my acting experience to, so I had to control my emotions and make sure that my voice goes along with the character. The volume of the voice is also important, it took about three days including practice time because my voice doesn’t go well with other people’s voices. As for the voice of Khan Kluay, Num Attaporn, did a great job, because we had to dub our voices separately, so when it was my turn to dub, it was like someone already helped me with the acting part.

You’re getting good at dubbing voices

“I want to dub a Thai animation where the original voice is mine, the two hours that I did wasn’t enough, I want to dub more. If anyone is interested, I’m charging the usual dubbing price.”

You’re building a house near P’A so that you can see each other more conveniently

“It’ not like that, my old house is at the Pattanakarn-KrongTan area and I didn’t know that Khun A also lived around that area. Our houses was near each other for a long time and my old house wasn’t mine, it was a rented house. After I worked and earn enough money, I want to have a property of my own and I feel connected with that area ever since I was little. I always thought that if I were to buy a house, I would only buy it in the Pattanakarn area, even before I met Khun A. When he told me to go meet him at his house which was located in that area, I said that we were only a few blocks away from each other. I even teased him and asked whether he ever drove by my house when he was little, but he was also surprised to find out that my house was close to his. When I was young, I was poor, so I asked him if he ever saw me eating barbeque pork and riding on the bus, he said that we should have known each other so that he can share some of his food with me, it was quite funny. So now I have money, I want to buy some property in that area and people are wondering if it was because we wanted to be close to one another, but that wasn’t it, it had always been my intention. Actually, Khun A house is at Sukhumvit area.”

Is the news about your marriage on August 4th true?

“Not yet, it’s not true, we really haven’t talked about this yet. We’re waiting for me to be ready first, we’ll wait for me to know how to cook or wait for everything to be more stable. Everyday, I haven’t been still, we should wait until my life is at a slower pace.”

So your love life is happy?

“I’m okay unlike 17-18 years old kids, I’m calm and relax, I don’t like to argue and there’s not a lot of excitement. I like to be calm and he likes to be calm, we’re fine together but if he doesn’t like calmness anymore, then we’ll need to have a talk.”

You can consider your couple to be a perfect match?

“I like the fact that he’s more mature than me and he’s a good advisor. I’ve gained a lot of knowledge from him and when we meet up each other, I feel stable being with him. There’s many people who gives me advice and everyday, we’re seeing each in a relax way, like friends. We’ve been in this relationship for 8 years now and it’s okay, I try not to be too possessive of him so I give him space. Sometimes, I have some bad behaviors that I need to fix.”

Is there something ‘A’ wants you to change?

“I like to do things on my own but in a relationship, it needs two people to think about things, but I like to do things and think on my own. It’s something I need to fix, as for him, if there’s anything I want him to change, I would tell him.”

Everyone is jealous of  your relationship

“We don’t have anything to be jealous about because we are a very easy couple, we have some arguments but it’s not so difficult that we can’t work it out, but it’s okay.”

“Anne-Ken” pra’nang Koo-Kwan

“Anne-Ken” pra’nang Koo-Kwan

Daradaily: February 2, 2009

Suntisook Promsiri and Jintara Sookapat has been recorded in the movie database as being the last Pra’nang Koo-Kwan of the entertainment business. After that, the movie and the lakorn business has been emptied of pra’ek and nang’ek at the level of ‘koo-kwan’ for a long time.

In this generation, no one could possibly deny the fact that Anne Thongprasom and Ken Theeradeth, is the pra’ek and nang’ek that everyone wants to see and admire the most, due to the high accomplishment of the lakorn Oum Ruk in the year 2006.

In the middle of the year 2008, Anne Thongprasom, had made her fame in the lakorn Sawan Bieng. In the year 2009, the lakorn Borisud Bumbut Karn emphasized her title “Drama Queen” even more, we can truly believe that this woman will be the forever star glittering in the entertainment business for a very long time. For Anne Thongprasom, her acting skills has surpass excellency ever since the lakorn Song Naree, which gained her the title “Nang’ek Jao Bote Bard (Skillful Nang’ek)”. Later on, she was named “The Princess of Entertainment.”

The slogan that has been attached to Anne and is part of her life is that she’s known as the ‘Nang’ek who waste so many clothing’ because no matter how many years has passed, there was never a time when she’s willing to sell her skin and body for people to see. That’s why Anne still seems so mysterious and is interesting to find out about, which is an opposite to the trend of showing off their sexiness like other stars. If we talk about ‘quality acting’ we can guarantee that many producers will think of “Anne Thongprasom” as their first choice.

Theeradeth Wongpuapan is a pra’ek that both real and fake women loves and is crazy about. Today, even though he has a father status, but his attractiveness is still not worn out. His latest work with Aff Taksaorn in Jai Rao made many people dream of the love between “P’Kornwick” and “Nong Auy.”

Ken Theeradeth is still able to maintain his position as the number one pra’ek of the entertainment business and the nang’ek that got to act with him is all skillful actresses, no matter if it’s Aom Piyada, Janie Tienposuwan, or Aff Taksaorn. All of which can guarantee a high ratings lakorn.

But no matter which nang’ek he is paired with, no one can forget his role with Anne from Oum Ruk and Sawan Bieng. As for the lakorn Sood Sanae Ha, it will help prove the power of love that the viewers has for this Pra’nang Koo-kwan.

The Pra’nang Koo-kwan, Anne Thongprasom and Ken Theeradeth, has return our feelings from back in the old days once again.
